Bass Traps

Bass traps are an effective solution to help reduce low end frequency problems in a room. They work by absorbing unwanted low frequencies often experienced in studios/rooms designed for recording, mixing, listening, and practicing. Improving the consistency of sound across the spectrum subsequently lead to better recording/listening results.

These traps were designed and built for our home studio using a light-weight timber frame together with 100mm, RS60 Earthwool slab. An air-gap at the back of the panels further enhances the effectiveness of absorption.
