Our Story
Hi, I’m Dan - Welcome to Create-Revive!
Having spent the best part of the last 15 years sat behind a desk working in finance, my soul was crying out for a creative outlet. Being a part time musician, this need was, to some extent fulfilled, however I’d always felt so uplifted and blessed with such a great sense of reward in creating something useful, beautiful, and tangible using my own hands.
Initially I took to restoring all of our existing furniture ready for the move into our new house that we were building. We couldn’t afford to buy new, and I didn’t feel that was necessary anyway. With a little (lots of!) time and effort, everything looked and worked like new again.
I started getting the bug for upcycling and furniture transformation which eventually led to me creating ‘Indi’s Kitchen’ for my 6-year-old daughter using some tired, neglected units sourced by my wife, and then the infamous ‘Nimbus 2000’ broom from Harry Potter for my son Oscar.
I fell in love. And my wife fell in love with filling our garage with more and more tired, neglected items in need of some TLC!
And so, Create-Revive was born….
